You have to visit Luther's house if you are in his city. There is currently a special exhibit for the 500th anniversary that is equally as good as Lutherhaus itself.

We were there just as the work crews were adding the finishing touches to the house for the 500th anniversary. Excellent opportunities to take your time and go through all the exhibits.

We will return because the courtyard is closed and it looked lovely from the windows of the building itself. Wittenberg is a really nice town so it will be a pleasure to return. They are still renovating so it is ready for the 500 year...More

A must see when. Tracing the steps of Martin Luther! Fredrick gave this little "cottage" to the Luthers which they turned into Wittenberg's first B&B.

From the lutherstadt-wittenberg website: The Luther House is expected to remain closed from 08.29.2016 until 03.03.2017 due to construction.
