With the aid of a hand-held audioguide this museum traced the origins and history of the Bauhaus movement in an easily digestible way. The Exhibition is small and the venue soon to be replaced by a permanent building but includes a variety of exhibits that...More

Small from the outside, but great stories and experiences inside. Even if you're not into the piano-music of Liszt, the house offers a great window to his life and experiences.

Really fabulously atmospheric place - great foresight for it to be preserved so soon after Liszt's death. The attendants were very helpful, particularly the man. One of the best places we went to on our fortnight's trip.

The audio guide in English is a must as it gives a lot of background information and adds to the experience. The rooms are as they were when Liszt lived here and downstairs it is possible to hear his work.

This is tucked into a side street, but don't you dare miss it! The original furniture and instruments are there and very well preserved. Nice exhibit although the music section on the ground floor could have better explanation.

This is Liszt's second home in Weimar (his main home houses a research facility devoted to his life and work). Many of the rooms have been preserved in their original, including his own piano. The place surprises by its modesty. There are plenty of memorabilia,...More

Views you can find in old photographs portraying Liszt with his audience. You can feel the mucial history at the park in a highly cultural but not a big city.
