It's a small museum, it's free (no entrance fee), it's a nice location and you can leisurely walk trough it and watch some nice pictures from professional fotographers. There is no permanent collection (to my knowledge). Even the collectables in the small shop (like mugs)...More

During our stay there was an exhibition of photograph Nick Hannes. It was small, free and in a nice building. Definitely worth to visite during your stay in Almeria.

When we visited the museum, there was an exhibition of photos taken by a Belgian chap who had travelled over many months around the Mediterranean countries; superb mesmerising photos.

Really enjoyed the exhibit we saw! Would not have necessarily chosen to attend, but glad we did, as we were walking past on a Sunday afternoon and nothing else was really open! Worth visiting!

Great space - but can't say the same about the work that was showing when we visited. Exhibition aside, were we on the doorstep I'd go and see all of the shows. I'd also go as far as to say that I'd be inclined to...More

This is a lovely building... but unfortunately the "Golden Forest" exhibition was disappointing. All very gushing and pretentious. We would definitely return if there were a more interesting artist featured.
