Very large plaza similar to the main plaza in Madrid. Mainly interesting due to its size. Not as romantic as many of the smaller plazas in the old town. Quite a good place for a beer. Lots of restaurants.

It is a nice plaza but we have seen more beautiful plazas than this one (Madrid!). But it is nice to have a drink and eat some tapas. The plaza is very big. It used to be a bull fighting ring a long time ago....More

This square seems to be stuck part of the way through a gentrification process - it still retains some of the traditional feel of the city and can be a bit desolate at times, but now has a bit of life with quite a few...More

Ok for all of the above - nothing special but it's now Monday night at 1.40am and everything is just finishing up. During the day some shopping but mainly cafes etc. big plaza - hard to imagine that there are so many rooms overlooking it...More

The architecture is not as interesting here as it is in many other large Spanish cities but there are lots of places to eat and many nice shops and boutiques. A good place to have lunch.

A buzzy place to eat and people watch. Sit in the sun and eat lunch, have coffee or breakfast . There is a sort of market in the shady arches surrounding the square selling tatty antiques, old postcards, brick a brac , a few vegetables...More

During the night it's of people drinking and eating - beer, ham, sausages, tapas, wine... Nice and cheap to eat/drink. During the day it's also nice and busy square.

We came across accidentally but once here we looked around. There is a variation of cafés to sit and have a bite. Also a nice little market.

Looks better on the internets than in reality. Nothing special really. Cordoba definitely has better places.

This was on our guided walk round and the guide did explain about this square. Didn't take it all in but it is a good place to eat at lunchtime, she said, so that can't be bad! Looks good, too!
