WOW. Fantastic Beach. The Dune is a great place to see and the historical roman place very nice. No big hotels near and enough place for everybody. Clear water.

Early summer was gorgeous, with a roman city to wander round & Africa in the distance ... and a keen breeze too

We asked a hotel clerk in Vejer de la Frontera what her favorite beach was, and without hesitation she said Bolonia. It was about a 40 minute drive through beautiful countryside. Our intention was to combine a beach day with a visit to the Roman...More

Been there last year and it was already full of plastic bottles and cigarette butts and one year later it's just worse. So sad cause the place could be so amazing. Maybe to make people pay a small fee would help them behave.

Following a visit to the spectacular Baelo Claudia Roman town we headed for the beach and what a beach. Clean white sand to sit/lie on and crystal clear Atlantic water to swim in. Bolonia is an absolute treasure

It's a nice beach with a cascading sand dune. If you get the energy climb up the dune and check the woods around it. They're very pretty.
