We visited on a previous occasion and loved the story it told through the archaeopogical heritage and wanted to return. It was very sad to see the place has closed and is in a state of abandonment. Hope someone takes it over soon

We tried to visit this attraction in the late morning on a weekday but it was locked, even though the sign indicated it should be open. We could see inside the big windows but there was no-one there. Has it closed?

For 5e you get to see the Roman remains of Cadiz. Mainly sewera and wells. These go back 3000 years. It could get a bit claustrophobic and warm if it was busy. I been now but I wouldn't go back. I'd have a beer in...More

I absolutely loved the site! Monumental Archaeology and nice location, just besides the Cathedral of Cadiz. Worthy a visit!

I can't say anything about the tower because I didn't go up, but the museum's very good on the very early settlement of Cadiz / Gades. In some parts of the museum, you walk on glass floors and walkways, viewing ancient remains from high above,...More

While walking around Cadiz, Spain, we stumbled upon La Casa del Obispo, an archeological museum. I don't know if I could find it again without directions! The museum was interesting in that it had clear floors so we were walking over digs showing the ancient...More

It blew us a way that such an important and well done (albeit small) museum doesn't get more attention. For 5 Euros this is a must see.

nice and pleasant museum, set in a beautiful building, those who like history will enjoy this visit. A short tour of the rich history Cadiz, with the same ticket you can also vsit the lovely old cathedral next door.

Not the most interactive thing in Cadiz but since these remains go back down to 200 b.c. it's worth buying the combo ticket incl. the Cathedral tower.
