The best way to see west Mallorca! Three of us on a trike with power to spare going up over mountain passes, scenic towns, and out of the way places. A five hour tour (Tour 2) the trike was really easy to drive and a great day just touring around. Well worth doing

My sister and I went on this tour together with Fritz (the guide, who is German but also fluent in Spanish and English) and a lovely couple from Germany, and we had the most wonderful time! The idyllic scenery and experience of riding a motor-trike at 120 km/hr was more than enjoyable, but the heart of this trip for us was Fritz himself. He was charismatic and funny, with a huge love of life, the Spanish countryside, and especially any and all animals (bulls, horses, goats, dogs, birds), whom he lovingly called "my babies." When it quickly became apparent that my meager experience driving a manual transmission would not do for a 130km trip on highways and backroads, Fritz invited me and my sister to ride behind him on his own bike, which gave us something of a "personalized tour" and allowed us to experience even more of his big, warm personality. A few suggestions for anyone who wants to go on this trip (which I recommend without hesitation): 1. Bring a jacket, and even long pants if you don't like the idea of insects slapping against your legs at high speeds; 2. If you don't know how to drive a manual transmission, ask in advance if you can ride with someone who does; 3. Given the choice between Tour 1 (oceanfront) and Tour 2 (countryside), choose Tour 2! You can see all you want of the ocean in Novo Sancti Petri and the surrounding area, but the countryside tour offers a completely different and equally breathtaking vista, especially with the experienced Fritz at the helm!…

We had a great day out with the staff from the Trike-Shop. They provide the use of some fabulous Moto-Trikes and led us on a 4 hour plus tour, through to Vejer de la Frontera where we pulled over to take in the wonderful vistas and to have a drink (all provided). Then it was back on the trikes to a typical Spanish Venta with very good tapas and bocadillo's all at reasonable prices. The trikes are a real show stopper everybody waves and beeps their car horns as you pass by, you can see what I mean by looking at their website www.trike-shop.net. We went as a group so in all there were the 4 trikes piloted by myself two of my friends and led by the staff from the Trike-Shop. All you need is a current driving licence and away you go. The trikes sit 3 and the third person travels free. The Trike-Shop provided crash helmets and obviously insurance which was paid for in the overall price. The trikes are fantastic and easily the length of the average car and just as wide which is something to be aware of whilst driving. You are given a quick drive around the block before you set off just to ensure you are safe and understand the gears levers etc. Out on the open road is a real blast. You have just got to give this ago its totally different and thoroughly enjoyable. Just remember to sun cream up before you go and you will hopefully have as much fun as we did. We will definitely go and see them again to do the other inland route they offer. They also for a small charge do a CD full of action photos to keep and enjoy for years to come. Can not wait to do it again.…
