An excellent display of the history of this sporting tradition. The staff member whom greeted us was warm and accommodating, and the field of battle....there was this feeling of excitement, a muted din it seemed... of many stories to tell.

We visited in October 2019 and spent about two hours. The owner/manager of the museum descends from a long line of bullfighters. He was very interesting along with all the exhibits. The bulls and clothing exhibits were rich. The museum of fossils from southern Spain also very interesting. There is a good size cultural and historical museum upstairs. The owner has original old posters of bullfights for sale. Very nice if you like bullfighting history…

This is principally a museum of bullfighting in Andalucia, not for the squeamish. There are loads of photos and some fairly graphic evidence of how bulls were once treated here. A few peripheral displays help to mix it up, farming, music etc. And it`s free.
