When we were last in Malaga we did not have time to visit the Cathedral but put it on our must-see list, I'm pleased we did. The Cathedral was built during the first century A.D. and added on for centuries. The interior/exterior is a massive towering, structure with outside gardens. A do not miss attraction.

Go here on a Sunday and you do not have to pay the €5 entrance- fee ánd you have a chance to hear the mighty organ play!! Do not pay any attention to the 'gitanos' begging for money; they are a scam! Better donate your coins to the artist around town who are willing to do something / work a... More

Absolutely magnificent to look at. You can use it as a focal point for the city to keep track of where you are, as a meeting place, and etcetera as you can see the tower from just about anywhere.

Beautiful, massive Cathedral. While we didn't understand Spanish, it was a nice experience. Lovely restaurants in the surrounding area.

An impressive structure sitting among small buildings and tightly build streets. It stands out like a beacon among them. Possibly more interesting in the early evening when its lit.

Didn't go inside as it was closing as we arrived. But on the outside was stunning. I'm sure inside would be as nice.

I was christened a Christian orthodox and I am not a religious person, but wherever I travel in the world I feel a tremendous desire to enter a beautiful church, a chapel or a Cathedral and appreciate these Architectural marvels . The Cathedral in Malaga left me Speechless. A wonder, an Architectural masterpiece! Magnificent, divine, for 30 minutes I had... More

Not your oldest Andalusian Cathedral it took 250 years to finish - a stop start process. However the scale and grandour of this 18th century baroque masterpiece is breathtaking especially the carvings. As a tour guide I spend a lot of time in churches of various sizes and denominations and this is a must visit of you are in Malaga.

I've seen alot of stunning and amazing cathedrals and churches so to be fair it takes alot to amaze me. This was nice and worth it if your wandering around Malaga anyway. I think the €5 each was a little steep considering alot of other cathedrals in Europe are free.
