This is a statue of Canovas del Castillo, a former prime minister of Spain who served a total of six terms in that role.This statue is butt ugly, if the statue is anything to go by, Canovas looked like an orang-utan dressed in a suit.

Canovas del Castillo (1828-1897) was Spain's prime minister on six occasions and born in Malaga. He was assassinated by an Italian anarchist in the Basque country.

The sculpture of Canovas del Castillo is not one of my favorites because it is not a beautiful sculpture in my opinion. It is too modern for my taste. I prefer a more traditional style.

Monuments are the test of time, i love looking at old ancient monuments, buildings artifacts etc it gives you depth of past lives and how they lived.
