Wonderful ,a glimpse of old Spain! A fine choice of Wines, you point and choose. Your bill is chalked on the wooden bar and you sip and enjoy! A chance to smell and see a piece of history. The Bar,tiles and photos are well worth admiring.Try the Tapas a great way to start a lunch or evening meal.

Read about this place and had to give it a go. Only a few minutes walk from Malaga Central train station and in the city centre. Nothing has changed in this place for many, many years. A bit of history right in the middle of an ever modernising city. Sherry served straight from the cask. Seco,Pedro Ximenez etc. Full of locals... More

This is a must place to start off an amazing evening in Malaga. If you don't speak Spanish just point at a barrel of your choice to enjoy a truly wonderful authentic Spanish experience.

Fabulous, like stepping back in time. Fantastic tiles, extremely long bar, with wonderful smelling barrels. It's a joy to sample the different Malagueon wines and the tapas. It's a must go to bodega, truely remarkable. Ps the wonderful are fabulous.

Hidden gem oozing all the charm and taste of a decades old fortified wine. Took a while to find but well worth the effort.

We went in and merely had to point at the barrel we wanted to taste (guessed by the price!) and had a few of the sweet sherries. the bar man writes what you owe on bar in chalk, and you pay when you are finished. This is a great place to mix with locals, taste what the locals taste, and... More

Went here with my friend who was studying in Malaga for a year. Nice to taste the local spirit. But caution it's very strong stuff.

Great vermouth and wines at bargain prices. Get your seafood from the man opposite the bar and enjoy this place.
