International tennis club Royal Tennis Club Marbella" was founded 40 years ago by a group of tennis professionals with wide experience in tennis organisation and management. The tennis club is located in Marbella town, in a beautiful, coastal area of El Rosario. Ideal climate conditions allow you to practise tennis and padel sports all year round surrounded by unique nature, tranquility and fresh air. For over 40 years, the club is renowned for its clay tennis courts made of tightly packed earh, which are considered to be the best in the entire Costa del Sol. We had a pleasure to welcome in our tennis club internationally known tennis players such as J.C. Ferrero, D. Ferrer, A. Kuznetsov, J. Acasuso, Emilio Álvarez and others. Many international tournaments including DuelodeLegiones´08 Spain against Argentina took place in our tennis club. We offer 8 clay tennis courts and 1 hard court. Professional night lighting allows you to enjoy playing tennis or paddel at any time!

although the facilities are good the service is poor as we booked for a fun game on holiday and they failed to mention that the courts are half price at non peak times which would have suited us. you had to pay to hire rackets - no issue there but you also had to buy balls - really? cost for... Set back from the main road this tennis club attracts the best of the tennis buffs. Nice place to meet around the pool for a beer or food.

Whether your on holiday in Marbella or an expat living in town, this is the place to go for all your tennis and gym needs. Upgrades throughout the Club really make it second to none in the area. The restaurant also has an excellent variety of cuisine to suit everyone. Not to mention, the fantastic location and proximity to all... More

There is nothing Royal at this place. Poor facilities and poor service all round. I went with the family beginning of October to use the tennis and club facilities which unfortunately were already closed or about to shut and tennis courses in poor state. the lunch menu consisted of reheated tin food. in order to sustain the Royal title they... I am in no way zenophobic but the old El Casco, now Royal Club, appears to have an identity crisis. And I suspect that the new owners just don't get and don't want to get that this is a tennis club on the Costa del Sol and not a top notch tennis academy in Florida. Hell of a shame having... More

We played here in February after a rainy night. There were puddles on the court and lots of pine needles and debris which had not been cleared. The surface of the court is very poor and uneven with roots making the surface erupt in places. Also it is extremely noisy being near to the autopista. Could not hear each other... More
