Absolutely beautiful. Well organised, you have timed tickets for the Nasrid palaces and have to arrive within 15mins of your time, easy peas. One nitwit turned up almost 2 hours late and was furious when they refused him entry. He did say he was putting it on trip advisor!! I say get a watch and you would not have m7ssed a wonderful experience.

The highlight of the Alhambra. We had some luck as we could not pick a time slot for our ticket anymore. I guess we got the last tickets online and had the chance to enter the palace as last group. That allowed us to get some impression of the palace with not so many people around us. Maybe the light was not optimal but having the palace with just a handful of other people is amazing. Apart from that, we got very impressed by the handcraft of that time. The audioguide helped a lot to learn more about the purpose of the palace and its different building/ facilities.

This is a lovely experience and it deserves all the praise it receives. Make sure you book your timed entry well in advance. Also recommend getting first entry of the day when it is at its most peaceful and you can really soak in the atmosphere. Be sure to arrive well ahead of your entry time at the correct gate and bring your passport as they check upon entry. Once you're inside you can spend as much time as you like before seeing the rest of the grounds.

These palaces are stunning mansions built for Spanish-Muslim rulers. The style is very Arabic.
When booking your Alhambra tickets, you have to choose a date and time when to visit these palaces.
Despite that, it was too many people. Taking photos was not easy.

Truly amazing inside and out, this is a must do in Granada.
It does get busy, even though entry is only by timed ticket, remember to take your id, otherwise you will not get in!
We did the tour on our own which was OK, however it left us with a lot of unanswered questions, so next time will get a private guide for the inside.
You will spend all your time in awe of what you are looking at, when exiting take a look at the beautiful gardens and then head up to Generallife.

The Nasrid Palaces were highlight of our visit to Alhambra. You get timed ticket and if late won’t be admitted, also remember ID which is required.
The Palaces are beautiful with courtyards, numerous water features, especially liked the Courtyard of Lions and intricate carvings, very elegant, don’t forget to look up the ceilings are just as stunning. We went on guided tour which was excellent and our guide made sure we saw everything.
Would recommend visiting, it is truly beautiful.

We bought a combined ticket online 2 days earlier, so it was easy to go into. It’s important to arrive at Nasrid Palace in exact time, but we had to wait for about 20 minutes in a long queue. It was bad organisation. But we forgot it when we saw the most beautiful palace we have ever seen! It really is a miracle: stone-laced arcades, carved wooden ceiling, beautiful tiled walls and floors, mosaics, Courtyard of lions with the famous fountain! It’s a must-see attraction in Andalusia!

Visiting Nasrid Palaces was the highlight of our trip to Granada. We were in awe looking up the ceiling, staring at the grandeur of the design and the water features. Could easily spend a whole day there

Buy timed tickets, line up early, bring ID – if you’re late its a no-go. This is the highlight of Alhambra. Throughout, there’s intricacy, elegance and extravagance in the marblework, mosaics, wooden arches and stonework. There are many special rooms - Mexuar, Oratory and Gilded and many halls like the Ambassador, Boat and Macarebes. There are courtyards and palaces within palaces and water everywhere. My favourite place was the Courtyard of Lions, a peaceful elegant and distinguished example of the Moorish sense of purpose. .

This is the stunning bit of the Alhambra. Stunning architecture, stunning design and stunning art with all the gorgeous Moorish motifs and water features. My favourite was the court of the lions, but the court of the myrtle and the comares palace run close seconds.

Is this open on a Monday and Alhambra

I think it's open on Monday, best thing is to check online, best to check their website when booking a visit. Make sure to book in advance, or you will not get a space.
They're strict with your session at Nasrid Palaces, anywhere else you can go anytime during the day I think.

Hi,
I am going to Granada during Christmas. The ticket of Nasrid palace has already run out upon checking this morning.
I m wondering whether it’s possible to buy it at the ticket office ? I have booked a guided tour for other parts of the Al hambra but the place is excluded. Just wondering whether the palace is worth visiting.

I would go with what everyone else said. How did it work out? Did you get tickets?

Will a night visit to the palace be cold in early March? Are a majority of the must see sights outside? Also, what is the earliest cue time for the night visit?

We went during the day, however most of the impressive stuff is indeed inside. As to the temperature, no idea I’m afraid.

Ho comprato i biglietti online dal sito ufficiale a 14€. Posso entrare direttamente o devo cambiarli in biglietteria?

Buona visita.
