Not enough words to describe how beautiful it is. Not wheelchair friendly or if you have mobility issues but they do try very hard to help. You can borrow a wheelchair for free too. Worth the effort! BOOK IN ADVANCE!

We visited the Alhambra with a private guide recently. It is gorgeous and full of rich history and provides a view into the opulent life of the sultan and then the queen. The gardens are stunning and you should plan on at least two hours...More

Buy a headset for a tour at your own pace, €6 so much cheaper :) Morning slot into the palace means you are not standing in the queue to get into the palace in searing heat. There is a queue before your time slot The...More

Recommend you book online in advance. Prices vary so be careful! We booked individual tour but got a group tour with a guide as there were a lot of people wanting tour in English at the same time. Good to have a guide to answer...More

What a place. Nothing more to add to almost every other superlative laden review. Something that was a bug bear was the inability to source Entry only tickets from Australia. We bought Tour tickets at 4 times the price as after trying for 2 weeks...More

The queues are long, the tour groups are filled to capacity, but it is still worthwhile to join the queues and see this amazing piece of history. The Muslim heritage has been so destroyed in many places so it is good to see this has...More

We booked online a 3 hour guided tour through Get Your Guide. This worked perfectly - easy online booking, clear confirmations of when and where to meet, email reminders, an 8.30am start to avoid the heat of the day and then, to top the lot,...More

Love this place! Such a beautiful setting. We spent hours walking around. As you can leave and re-enter with your tickets we spent the morning there, left for lunch and later came back to explore some more.

You have to book a long time in advance. I booked ours as soon as they became available which was 6 months before we visited.
