My 2nd visit to Alhambra. Still awesome and well worth visiting. We arrived just after 9.00 with our visit to the Palace of the Nazaries booked for 11.00. That gave us plenty of time to leisurely stroll through the grounds and visit the Alcazabar before 11.00. I would recommend the audio guide for info about the various areas but there... More

Your head will spin in trying to figure out and plan a visit unless you pay for a guided tour that picks you up from a Granada hotel. I was staying in Malaga and wanted to just get tickets to the site itself. The official website gives you information but inaccurate tips. Such as they tell you that you may... More

Prebooked via GranaVision an our english speaking guide Philippe, gave us a fantastic tour for 3 hours and it was a spectacular tour. Highly recommended but a good advice is to always book in advance.

This tour is so interesting and beautiful at the same time. The gardens are so serene and the whole place is spectacular. We enjoyed eating at the American Restaurant (that is it's name) that was inside the Alhambra.I would love to go there again and it is a definite must-see!

The Alhambra is a must visit if you are in Granada, but make sure you book in advance! It is the most visited site in Spain receiving something like 7000 visitors a day! If you can, do a tour, as it helps to understand the history of it too.

This was my third time visiting the Alhambra and each time it becomes more and more impressive to me. It is unlike any other monument I have visited.

The Alambra, is one of those places I have longed to see. So this Chritmas, 2016, we Visited Spain, and drove to Granada to see the Alambra, an amazing Complex of palaces and gardens. Built in the mid 13th century, as royal palace and fortress for King Mohammed. The architecture is wonderful, and the buildings decoration of carvings, marquetry and... More

It's rare to be able to tour a palace at night. And, this place is even more fantastic at night because of the way it's lit. Just learn how to take photos without the flash (like they ask). A flash distracts from the way the palace is lit and it kill photos being taken by the others in your group.

Enjoyed my trip to the Alhambra very much, if it was up to me I could even have spend more time there. The good thing is that even without a ticket there are quite a few places you can walk around in the Alhambra. I was there just before Christmas and bought my ticket at a ticket office in town... While other buildings look beautiful when viewed from the outside (e.g. The Taj Mahal) and others have breathtaking rooms (e.g. Hall of Mirrors, Versailles), I consider that the interior beauty, craftsmanship, and ambience of the Alhambra surpass anything I've experienced. One of the world's great examples of Islamic art and design. Tiled walls and beautiful mosaics with countless, mesmerising, symetrical... More
