I recently went on 2 guided walks with Lorena. It was my first experience hiking but she made it very pleasant and enjoyable by regularly checking on how I was getting on. The passion for andalucia ran through our conversation which was relaxed and informative. Peter joined us on the first one walk and his insight on photography and natural resources around the world was invaluable. I had a great time, thanks for taking photos on my behalf when I came without my phone on the second walk. Mucho gracias Lorena.

We went for a touristic tour with Peter and Paco, our driver in a 4-wheel car, to Gorafe desert. It was AMAZING! The place offers a beautiful landscape while still being preserved from mass tourism. Peter is probably the best guide we ever had during our trips. The way he is able to share and communicate knowledge about nature, people and country is extraordinary (while at the same time being conscious about nature and passionate about Andalusia). It was our pleasure to listen and discuss with you Peter and thank you for a great excursion in the Badlands.

I had a great time on two hikes with Lorena during a week in Grenada, she was fantastically knowledgeable about the Sierra Nevada area, the animals and plants that we saw along the way, and helped me with my Spanish immensely. The scenery was stunning and the walks were perfectly suited to the heat and my ability. A great experience!

I can highly recommend guided hiking tours with Al Andalus Photo Tour / Peter Manschot in Andalucia. Peter and I went on two trips in July 2016, he was my personal guide and we walked in mountains areas surrounding Granada. The first was to Monachil in the Sierra Nevada. We took the paths Cahorros altos and bajos. It was a lovely tour, walking through a deep gorge, and over a river as well as higher up in the landscape. Beautiful and varied nature, and I also enjoyed observing rock climbers. The second trip was to The Sierra Almijara, along the river (rio) Cebollon. There we walked upwards inside the river, that was a very refreshing exerience where I literally felt I was part of the nature. We came to a waterfall where I "showered" - that was truly an exhilarating and invigorating experience! The endorphin hormones were boosted in a few seconds! In the river we saw trout and crawfish, and we also were lucky to have a good sight at mountain goats. Peter has in depth knowledge about the nature in Andalucia which he gladly shares. He also knows Spanish history and culture, and his knowledge helped me put things into this context. Moreover, as a profesional photographer he knows about all the best spots and took me to places that suited my interests, level and requests. Not to mention that I got photographed by a profesional! As a person he is very friendly and easygoing. He speaks fluently both English and Spanish. Thank you, Peter, for two wonderful and very memorable hiking tours! Hera, Norway
