we visited it because it's close to the Monastery known for Colombus' stay, but this town had nothing to offer - just visit the monastery, and move on

This is a great town with lots of things to see and visit. As its part of the Columbus trail you'll find many references to him and the many voyages to the Amercias.

Visited newly developed Trufas groves that confirm the very god economy of the area. In general people walking on the streets were better dressed than I have observed in many other cities in Andalucia.

After visiting the Carabelas, you HAVE to go to this town just 4 kms away. Beautiful and very cute. If you want to visit the Pinzon's House, it;s only open during the morning
