The site is amazing, and we were very excited to visit. We could only go on a Sunday afternoon as we didn't have long in Seville, when unfortunately it closes early. We would have had enough time to look around if the staff hadn't started...More

Italica, by car, is ten minutes from the bus station. By bus, it takes more than 30 minutes with stops. This ancient site is a former Roman City filled with Roman ruins. The Colliseum is very large and they used to allow you to see...More

If you find yourself in Seville for more than a couple of days, you owe it to yourself to take an inexpensive cab ride or a local bus to Italica, about a half an hour out of the city by bus and only about 20...More

No doubt the traffic at this site will increase once Game of Thrones' final season is shown. The recommended itinerary is to follow the red arrows (anti-clockwise) so see the murals first leaving the amphitheater till the end. The info panels are in spanish so...More

Nice Roman excavations, with a beautiful, reasonably intact Roman theatre. The rest of the park is less impressive, but they do have nice mosaics and it gives a good impression of the size and organisation of the old Roman town of Italica.

What a great place to visit if you are interested in Roman history or seeing some beautifully preserved mosaics. The ruins are all in the open air so choose to go in the morning when it's cooler. If you are an EU citizen you can...More

Decided to give Italica a visit, easy to find, free entry for EU citizens, €1.50 for Non EU Citizens. The best free visit available. The mosaic floors are incredible as is the amphitheatre (a mini coluseum).

Is a visit you should not miss if you go to Seville. It has a well preserved Roman circus, besides several houses in its streets. Enjoy Rome in Seville.

A neat place! Most of the signs are in only Spanish, but there are a few in English. Unfortunately, the audiovisual presentation was not available when I went. Itálica is worth the visit if you are in Sevilla for a while. It is technically in...More
