This 17th century palace, which once housed aged priests, is well worth a visit for the small room housing 5 Spanish masterpieces ( and a few others) 3 by Velasquez, of which Santa Rufina is the most famous and cost €12.4M to purchase in 2007....More

It is a beautiful place. The chapel is amazing and breathtaking. The ceiling is decorated with frescos. WoW. So much to see and enjoy. Less crowded early morning. Highly recommended.

Be sure to visit here and witness firsthand just how powerful of a motivator guilt is when combined with a desire to live an everlasting life in Heaven. The tomb that you step upon when entering this glorious chapel is of the patron who funded...More

A beautiful and and calming place to visit. The Valesquaze paintings are outstanding and the celing in the church one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. Recommend a visit.

The "hospital" is sort of a convent, that is to say, in 17th century, a palace with gardens, refreshing basin i the center, and patio around. The church is over decorated, like nearly all spanish churches, Average paintings but splendid ancient organ. Murillo is a...More

The church is amazing. The small collection of paintings is also nice, but I would go again mainly the church.

If you are wandering through Santa Cruz, definitely pop in to see the art exhibitions they are hosting. The art includes the building. It is a gorgeous space all around.

Too many rooms are private/closed, including the "Biblioteca del Barroco" (which is supposed to be part of the ticket). Very disappointing and too expensive for what you get!

This "retirement home" for aging priests and monks is undoubtedly beautiful, but there are many areas closed off, making the €8 entrance rather excessive (especially as both guide books I have said it would be €5.50). Also, beware of the opening times! It's not open...More

I love Casa Roman. Many say it is touristy but I take all my customers there and all of enjoy. Best Jamon in Seville, Tortilla de patatas and excellent solomillo al whisky and it is right in the corner in Jamerdana street.
