This extensive collection of tapestries is located in the La Seo Cathedral. Each tapestry is huge, and depicts a historic or religious scene. Many have been carefully repaired as might be required, and there was explanation as to how the tapestries were originally made in the 15th and 16th centuries.

Although one has to climb several flights of stairs, the visit is worth it to see such incredible tapistries. Unfortunately my spouse could not join me because there is no lift.

Once inside the Seo cathedral, there´s a possibility to visit the tapestry museum, and don´t miss it, lots of very nice medieval tapestry telling histories in the same way we have in a painting, really cool

If you are an admirer of wall art and the looming and embroidery skills of medieval Europe, this museum will be an important stop in any visit to Spain. The climate here is a significant reason for the nearly perfect condition of these masterworks.

As a rule I am rather bored by tapestries but these are quite exceptional. They show scenes from life, starting shortly after 1400. Colours, designs, movement are all remarkable. It's like looking at a film made 600 years ago. Highly recommended.

Accessed via the La Seo del Salvador, and included in the price of entry, the tapistry museum consists of three mid-sized rooms filled with tapistries. There is no English commentary/captions, only Spanish - however, the narratives are biblical, so one can make decent guesses at the imagery, and the tapistries are works of art. A quick stop recommended.

The tapestries on display are absolutely beautiful. And there are at least 20 huge tapestries. There is so much going on in each tapestry that you can spend ten minutes on each just going through them properly. A huge plus is that entry fee for the museum is included in the entry fee for the Cathedral

Included with the entrance ticket to the Seo. Really interesting but be advised that on our visit all the information signs were only in Spanish.

Fantastico. The taperies were astonishing. Did not know they were there, in the back of the cathedral. Have to take a peak!
