This Basilica is definitely worth a visit in Zaragoza. It is spectacular and huge! Wonderful art, one part made by Goya which is really amazing.

Spectacular church with lots of flags and military presence in it (including franquiste glorification of air bombers -probably on Barcelona!). It is free so pay a visit to remember how pompous can be high catholicism!

The Basilica is a stunning structure from the outside but once you go in the art is magnificent. Get ready with your euros to see Goya's work on the ceiling lighted. Go around slowly and immerse yourself in the basilica's beauty but take time to...More

A tourist destination that you should not miss, a huge church with mixed architectural styles, a place of worship where history has left undeniable traces. The church tower offers a wonderful view of the city.

The moment I stepped into the grand, large sized basilica, I could not help but think of St. Peter’s. It is quite an exclamation of a place of worship. Neoclassical and lots of gold and brass to get me into the Advent mood. If you...More

A super large super impressive place. Would rival many a Roman church but has its own unique and appealing style. A must see.

What a massive building, very impressive inside and out. The present church begun in 1681 by Charles II, King of Spain and completed in 1686.

Don't drive. Find somewhere on the edge of town to park and take the tram.
