Hard to miss this amazing statue in the center of the Plaza around the area dedicated to Goya. Fountain and large area to sit- picnic, take a foto or just enjoy people watching.

This monument is a group of statues representing the most popular Goya characters painted by Goya. It is interesting and nice to see. Location is Plaza del Pilar (most representative area in Zaragoza) so very much recommended this visit.

We were not aware of the connection with Goya, even though we had inadvertently booked the Hotel Goya (you would have thought it were a big clue right?) Fitting monument to the painter in the main square , which itself is hugely impressive and the highlight of the day.

The Monumento a Goya is a collection of artwork nearby the church in Zaragoza. You may likely want to spend 5-10 mins checking it out and taking a photo or two. It's a fitting tribute to Goya who had quite an impression on Zaragoza. Although this isn't a must see attraction in Zaragoza, you are likely to pass it by... More

Hidden away in the narrow walkways - follow the signs from the square and be amazed. Stunning building inside

Just in front of the La Lonja on Plaza del Pilar is a collection of sculptures dedicated to Francisco Goya, the Aragonese artist and printmaker from the 18th century. The collection which was created by the Catalan sculptor Frederic Marés includes one of Goya standing holding a book and pen, and of two ladies and two gentleman in their finest... More

The folk of Zaragoza honor their greatest artist with a bronze statue at one end of the Plaza de Nuestra Señor. There is nothing special about this. What is special is the view from the statue across the whole plaza, which has to be a quarter to a half mile in length (or so it seems). Worth the look.

It turns out to be nothing special - just a characterless, newish statue on a high modern concrete plinth thing, uncomfortably placed between the Basilica and the old Cathedral. Don't look closely and it's more like you'd imagine Goethe than Goya. The best thing is the water-feature at its feet, which must be a joy to children on a blazing... More
