A fairly large river running through Zaragoza with several bridges spanning it. Not particularly picturesque.

This was the historic center of the city. You can get some great views from several of the bridges. It is used today for recreational purposes. It is not the most beautiful place in the old city.

Not the most beautiful, but worth seeing whilst in Zaragoza. More so the bridge near the basilica where you get a fantastic view. From the bridge we saw ducks & duckings in the river, along with lots of enormous fish swimming about.

It is only a river, running through a dry country. Walk across one of the bridges. The walkway along the river itself is a little nasty. Go back to the Plaza and have a beer.

Nothing particularly special, doesn't even dominate the city although there are many interesting bridges over El Ebro and a walk along the banks is as enjoyable as any other river that flows through a city.

Zaragoza is supposed to be the place where you can see better the Ebro river, besides thinking its history and pathway to sit around and take pics, its not a clean or clear river.

We have been criss-crossing the Ebro for three days down from the hills. Here it is at its majestic best and looks huge compared to the big stream up country.

I did see people rowing each morning on the river but dont know which club/group they were from, sorry. They may have been uni students, but hopefully someone else will be able to answer you more specifically.
