We spent two hours on a rainy day here. Very nice effort, and a good value for 13 EUROS. (Compare with 28 USD at the Boston aquarium). Good exhibits, well kept and clean. Signs in English and Spanish. Be advised that there is no easy...More

One may say, it's just full of fish tanks. However this one is more of a tour around the our blue planet. It takes the visitors on a tour around local rivers, local seas, nearest ocean covering them all in a very easy and logical...More

Really great collection of creatures: an otter, octopus, loads of sea horses, sharks, jellyfish, piranha fish, puffer fish, eels, and even a full grown loggerhead turtle. All creatures looked well cared for. Well worth €15 and English spoken.

Good place where to spend 1 hour on a rainy day in Gijon. The kids liked the place where you can touch some species.

It is a big place to take a look at species you do not see usually. There is a 'touch touch' area where the kids (and adults) can touch with their hands sea stars and others animals.

I went to visit the aquarium in Gijon because I like seeing little lizards and fish swimming about. This was ruined for me by the larger animals being kept in tiny enclosures. There was an otter kept alone that looked quite distressed. Running in circles...More

All types of beautiful exhibits, and you can even watch the feeding of the various animals (penguins, fish, etc.) located in the premises. Outstanding for all individuals, groups, and activities, but especially appealing to the "little ones". There is also a restaurant located in the...More

We didn't expect much from this small town attraction when we pulled up there, but after paying 50 Euros for a family of 5 we had a lot of fun wondering for more than an hour between the many fish tanks in the aquarium. It...More
