I remember waiting outside for this to open. I also remember a TV crew filming some kind of boat race. And I remember asking twice where the toilet was as I bought my ticket and a very rude lady not talking to me in Spanish...More

Whilst much space is devoted to a museum which is quite interesting, the aquarium itself is a magnificent engineering achievement, imaginatively designed and stocked

Although its an aquarium, most of the displays were Naval History. They are interesting but not what you expect of an aquarium. One floor did have displays of sea life with a section of underwater tunnel that was quite interesting. Worth a visit.

My wife, 5year old daughter had a great time here. Lovely introduction about whaling, fishing and other nautical stuff led to a great tour around everything fishy. Recommended!
