We took the first walk, labelled as 45 minutes. Due to stopping to take photos and hunt for wildlife it took us nearer 3 hours. The views are spectacular and we did spot a tortoise and lots of lizards. Lots of people however were taking the walk merely as exercise, despite the rough path, stomping along, even chatting on phones,... More

The S Albufera national park is a lovely reserve in Es Grau. The views are really pretty and of course lots of birds which is what we went for. A great selection of waders and a good view of a water rail. Bird watchers will enjoy it.

A lovely, clean, quiet, horseshoe shaped beach, with shallow water for quite a way out, so ideal for kids. Lifeguard station, canoe & boat hire, & best of all, NO SUN BEDS / RENTAL UMBRELLAS ! Backed by the nature reserve of S'Albufeira, which is accessible from the beach, and well worth a visit, and village of Es Grau at... More

The whole area is a habitat for bird and animal alike. In September however it is quite dry and their is not enough water in the lagoon. If you are lucky you may see some extraordinary birds.

Es Grau is a picturesque village with a lovely sweeping beach - the water is shallow to quite a distance out. Beware visiting after a storm - the bay fills up with jellyfish that give a bit of a sting. Wander further up the beach away from the village if you are into a bit of sunbathing "au natural" There... Beautiful place easy to get to from main bus station in Mahon. Take plenty of water if your doing the walk. Found some tortoises whilst waiting for the bus

A beautiful sandy beach with clean water and lifeguard presence. Cafe/restaurants and shops a short walk from the main bay. No shade though so take your umbrella on a hot sunny day!

We visited this lovely bay in August 2016 and were delighted with the interesting nature walk behind the bay, and the comforting warm waters. The restaurant to the right of the bay offered a great varied menu, and although they were very busy, they had time to seat us and serve some wonderful food. All six of us were very... More

Visited twice now! Fabulous beach with really low water so ideal for little ones - although a few nude bathers!! Just so beautiful just to sun yourself or if you are energetic you can Kayak, sail or pedalo. Quite small but found a tapas bar near the water taxi - good food. Can really recommend this area

If you want to change the scenary from Menorca's beaches, this is a good option. Three walks to see the lagune and a lot of birds. Better in a not to hot day.
