I enjoyed most part of my staying in Era n Canarias. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed this trip to Roque Nublo. The hike is short and the drive is not as winding as it may seem. I really recommend it!

This is an iconic viewpoint on the island and the local walks in Canarian Pine woodland are fantastic. By contrast on the Sunday we visited the plateau top was relatively crowded and not as attactive as the views.

Giant rock atop a mount surrounded by breathtaking views. There is a smallish parking lot at the foot of a pathway to the rock. The drive there is typical mountain road with many hairpin turns. At the parking lot fruit, beverages, sweets etc are sold...More

Roque nublo was very enjoyable. 30 min easy hike from the parking, which was easy when we arrived at 3pm. The rock beside roque nublo has bolted climbing routes grade 6. Unfortunately it was cloudy when we were there but such an impressive boulder. Really...More

Roughly 1.5 hours to reach the top with our 6 year old. We stopped for a picnic at the top and then continued the short climb to pico de las Nieves. We were above the clouds and could see so far the views were great!...More

It was definitely worth the drive and the short hike. The views were great. It was nice to do something healthy. We went on our own. I do not know how tour companies are. The hike is maybe 30-45 minutes depending how much you stop....More

Bit of a trek uphill but views are spectacular. Ground is a bit rough but normal trainers will do. There was a sandwich stand at bottom as well. A good drink refuel and although we didn’t buy any sandwiches they looked really good

We went for a guided hiking tour around Roque Nublo. We took a bus to get there from Playa del Ingles. First of all, if you are at all inclined to travel sickness, I recommend taking medication, just in case. We are not at all...More

This is a very impressive piece of rock. It is certainly interesting to walk up to it but for better views of it (which highlight both the enormity of the rocks and the unusual flatness of their perch) it is worth hiking up the hill...More

A must after years of visiting GRan Canaria went up to the top this year. Look out for the parking police on the road. Take good shoes shocking to see how the fires havr scared the land.

A friend who has been walking on Gran Canaria for many years recommends Rambling Roger's website as a good source of information on walks. We have just returned and completed a couple of walks from Tasarte to Mogan and... More
