When in Lanzarote make sure to visit this place. The national park charges 9 euros per person which includes a guided tour of the volcanic mountains. The landscape is simply breathtaking and very picturesque.Ideally it's a great place to spend 2-3 hours.

I think if you visit Lanzarote then this volcano is a must see. We went on an organised coach tour (booked through Thomson) and the tour guide was very enthusiastic and interesting which enhanced the tour. There is a restaurant at the top of the...More

Don't pay the 10 euros to be 'allowed' on a 'free' bus tour through the volcanos. You will get horrible pictures through the glass as you are not allowed to exit the bus throughout the tour. You will be swamped with tourists or experience a...More

Dear client, Firstly, thank you very much for your comment, your opinion is very important for this organization. Montañas del Fuego (Fire Mountains) are part of a wide area affected by the volcanic eruptions that struck Lanzarote between 1730-1736 and later, in 1824. This lengthy...More

Hi we are heading to Peurto del Carmen this month and would like to take the children on the camel rides. Can we just get a taxi to Timanfaya and go on the camels only?Do you need to book the camels in advance? Also what taxi companies would be able to take us there?Or are the tours a better option? Many thanks ,Kate.

I think so. Access to the park is free. The charge is to the access road leading to the visitor centre, and includes the bus trip round the volcanoes. The camels are before the kiosks charging for the access road. There are... More

Hi There, I'm planning to reach the Park with the car. could you suggest the best route to reach it? Also does the 9 euro entrance incudes the bus tour? If not what does it includes? And how much is the bus tour? thank you

We visited by car this week. Entrance fee was 10 euro including bus tour. Easy enough to find using google or apple maps. Well worth visiting.
