It is more sheltered than the seafront and whether the tide is in or out there is plenty to see - boats, birds, fishermen, as well as the world passing by. When you are in Arrecife, you can't miss it. Nice to stroll/cycle around and have a drink in one of the many cafe's.

Best of Arrecife city. Kind of nonchalant life savour. Located in the old quarters, it is an inner city sea water lake surrounded by one store houses. Enchanting and life full.

Always visit El Charco when in Arecife. Lovely usually quiet and relaxing area to walk round, stop at one of its cafes, have a drink and take in the view. Only 5 minutes from the towns main shopping area.

Some locals offering... More

Nicest place in Arrecife with a lovely view, boats and plenty of places to sit and have a drink or tapas.

Very pretty place which has had some money spent on refurbishment. Nice restaurants and bars and right in the centre of town

Loved walking around here at night and during the day. Lovely food and drink and it really came to life on Friday nights with local families walking and dining in the area.
