Not to be missed if you wish to understand what Manrique was up against and struggling for, making Art work in favor of decent urban architecture, economics and tourism as an industry.

The small but interesting exhibit will shine light on a very focused group of artists of the 70s who left their mark over the whole island's unique style. To top off the pleasant experience is the small fortress architecture and an outstanding restaurant which couples...More

Nice enough and at 4 euro entry fee, very good value as well. As it's pretty much on the outskirts of Arrecife we chose to visit by car (plenty of free parking available) formerly a defence fort it's been re-invented as an interesting art gallery....More

If you like Modern Art there is a some great quality works in an unusual setting. A little bit out of town with a great restaurant with views of the port. Well worth a lunchtime visit.

One of our 6 attractions, and well worth a visit. My son was not keen on visiting an art museum, but he loved this castle. It is beautifully maintained and well laid out, we spent quite a while exploring this castle. Don't forget to look...More

An interesting place to visit if you like modern art. Take time to watch the film by participants who set it up with Caesar Manrique, a fascinating insight into the problems created by officials on the island at the time. Opened in 1976 with a...More

This museum is very disappointed. The collection is very small and with no logic. If you do not have time do not waste your time !More

With only €4 entrance charge, this super little gallery is well worth a visit. Some particularly good sculptures. The building itself was as impressive as the contemporary art work.

Building is excellent but did not find Picasso or Miro. Not a lover of the paintings that were on display but the sculptures were interesting especially the horses and riders in the sea nearby
