Good to have seen this. For best views and pictures don't go inside.

Just a simple tree, we've seen plenty of those before. Yes it does look older than the rest, not sure about the over 1000 years story. There was some sort of butterfly park right next to it but it was closed at the time we visited. They have a parking lot and severall nice looking restaurants around. It's just a... More

You dont need to buy a tour (bus) to visit this place, easy accessable by renting a car for some days. Icod is nice and we will spend more time in this town next time.

We stopped off to see the famous Dragon Tree and paid to get into the gardens. You can just see the tree from outside but we thought we would have a little walk through. Nice and quiet gardens. We had coffee and traditional cakes in the quiet courtyard next to the tree which was pleasant. Worth a little visit

The first challenge is to find somewhere to park ( the underground car park 10 minutes walk away is best), The town is pretty to drive around but there is little chance of you finding anywhere free and if you do you will have a steep climb up cobbled streets back to your car. Just pay the couple of euros... More

I was visiting El Dragos' Park again and I discover the beautiful evolution of the design the park. Now it look easy but in the past was so difficult to put off the street in the surrounding of the ancient tree and create a park. Now is a part of the nature, but I know it is because the hand... We decided to call into the town on our way back from somewhere else. The town of icod is so beautiful. We arrived just before dusk and parked in the car park which is very close to the tree. The car park is 1€ an hr. There are toilets here and unusually a very big nativity scene in the car... More

Beautiful old tree. When exiting there is a souvenir shop where you can buy a small Drago tree and take it in your carry on luggage on the way back. It costs 7€.

From the top there is a nice wiev to the see and Teide on the other direction Entance is 5 euros for adult, children... More

There was much said about this place by locals at our resort. However, apart from the lack of direction signs when we arrived in the town resulting in several trips around the town centre, the end product was a bit disappointing. Yes it's big, yes the garden in which it is situated is cheap to get in €3, yes its... More
