Fair and Challenging
Dec 2018 • Couples
Played here as a visitor using hired clubs. Recommended by my hotel. On face value doesn’t look too hard but some challenging holes and fairly hilly. The greens were in excellent condition and very fast, missed a few downhill putts that went way past the hole. Once at the high points of the course the view is spectacular. Pro shop was a bit limited but the clubhouse and facilities very good. Recommended.

2nd oldest course in Spain.

I visited here recently and took advantage of a 5 round deal they do (it can be split between more than one person too). Very nice course , well kept and certainly worth playing if you stay in the North of the Island. Much quieter than the courses in the south of Tenerife too. Can’t play at weekend though as it’s members only then.
Staff all very professional and pleasant.
Being from Scotland the membership fees here just about killed me ....... €10000 to join and then €1500 a year !!!!OMG not worth that much.

Lovely course, bit like northern europe

4 of us played here having played Adeje. Took an hour to drive but well worth the effort. Lovely friendly staff, hardly any holidaymakers but many locals playing. Charming clubhouse with very inexpensive good food and drink. If you have a car, make the effort. No need to book as not popular with visitors Best kept golfing secret on Tenerife we think. Also 4 hour round unlike Adeje (5) or Playa (4.5) !!!!

Tight ,tricky with hidden hazards
Sep 2015
This golf course is not for the high handicapper. With hidden deep ravines it is a course which will swallow up errant shots. Although work was being carried out on the greens a 20€ discount was given. And the pro shop were up front about the work. This is a private members club and not open to the public weekends. The greens not being hollow tined were super fast. I would recommend you hire a buggy as the course is very steep almost mountainous at the start! I thought the charge of 15€ to use the driving range was a joke , this did not include any balls. But the 35€ I played for 18 holes was well worth the money

Excellent golf course!
Played here 5 times with my father on my recent holiday and enjoyed every minute on this beautifully maintained course. I purchased a 5 round pass for 350 euros which worked out at 55 pound per round and I thought that it was great value at the peak season rates. The pass also allowed two people to use it at the same time using up two off the rounds at once if we wanted to unlike some other courses on the island. We always played early in the day and the course was always in great shape with a small army of guys working on it but never hindering you. Staff were helpful and friendly and allowed us to rearrange tee off times (and days) due to weather with no fuss or extra charge. Buggys were good but if there had been a lot of rain you had to keep them on the paths which is fair. You could also rent electric trollys which always had fully charged batteries. There is some fiendish holes, noteably hole 10, but even with a high handicap like mine, making pars is acheivable if you can hit straight. Be warned though....the greens can be very fast and 3 putts are common.

The Most Unfriendly Golf Club
Mar 2014 • Friends
Played here with three other golfers on a golfing holiday and looked forward to playing the second oldest course in Spain. From the time we arrived, were treated like second class people, not a smile in sight, the staff were unprofessional and the members seemed they did not want visitors around.

This truly is the most unfriendly golf club I have ever had the misfortune to visit in my 15 years as a golfer. They should be ashamed of their snobbish attitude, treat all golfers with respect, then you might get some in return.

The course was not what I expected and the paths were in very poor condition, all in all we would never come back to this club. The only good thing about our visit was the scenic car journey along the coast road.

golfing on historic lands
Dec 2012 • Friends
Our trip to Real north can only be summed up as a delight. A true members club with the history of the oldest club in Spain matched with the hospitality found only where people care . From registration , caddy shack and catering a true pleasure.

If you want quality, class and a great golf experience, do it , book it and enjoy.
