The main gardens are pleasant to walk around and the cafe is good to stop and rest at. Shame that the aquatic gardens have been closed down.

Not open
Dec 2019
I went out to visit the park but I think it has been closed down because there were no signs and no entrances!
I found some empty display cupboards on The Taoro Road where signs with "closed" had been put up.

Lovely place with plenty of seats

Free entry, cafe at top, best advice is get a taxi to the top and walk down. There are steps and slopes in various directions all leading back to town. Good views from top, nice small waterfalls on way down. Very steep steps and slopes down.

Don’t go.. it s a total waste of time.
There was an old lady asking for tax to visit this so called aquatic garden without water. She told us to use youtube to see the garden with water 😱.
Try Jardin Botanico (3 euro entrance)- wonderful place with amazing species.

This is tucked away a little. It has beautiful surroundings, little cafe, pond with ducks, swans and turtle, also a friendly resident cat!!.

Relax, enjoy the gardens
Oct 2018 • Couples
This is in two parts, a cafe with tables and chairs set on grass under trees with ducks and swans wandering about. There are even a couple of black swans so look out for them. In the gardens there is a large pond with more ducks and terrapins. For a small fee you can then access the remaining gardens which goes down the hillside with ponds and various wildlife. I would recommend you check the opening hours for the remaining gardens as these do not open the same hours as the cafe.

Water??
Aug 2018 • Couples
Access through the Risco Bellows gardens. Entry only E2. 50 in the summer months. The place looks like it was something special once, but a lot overgrown & no water in the summer. Were told October onwards there is a possibility of water. Might be worth visiting then

Coffee and Cake
Jul 2018 • Couples
This is an old family home, the garden of which is open to the public. Welcoming lawns with white peacocks have tables and chairs dotted about. Sit and relax, the service is wonderfully relaxed with a choice of 4-5 different cakes on offer. Forget the City for a bit, enjoy the tranquillity and then move onto your next exciting activity. Blissful stop for coffee and cake!
