Be careful while walking there
Oct 2020 • Business
Be careful while you are walking from La Pinta to Torvicsas during the evening time. I've almost got robbed yesterday from the man who first talked to me as a friend and told.me he was from Gambia. Luckily he wasn't strong or desperate enough and he couldn't take me down on the ground and steal my money from my pocket. He also complained to me that I'm a liar when I showed him hotel card instead of 20e bill :D All the best to you and your family, I hope you will raise your kids better than your parents did...

Lovely beach shame about the street sellers!
Aug 2020 • Family
This was a lovely beach with white sand and clear water. Beds were available to rent and there were plenty of places to eat with a car park only a short distance away. Only down sides were their are no near by public toilets, think the nearest ones were by the port and you have to pay. The street sellers were also a pain in the arse, constantly trying to get business which starts driving you mad after a bit!

Constant harassment by street sellers
Jul 2020 • Couples
Visited 7 July 2020. We were constantly harassed by aggressive street sellers, selling towels, sunglasses etc on the beach. The same five or six sellers kept patrolling up and down every two minutes repeatedly pushing the same products after we had already said "no" multiple times. Impossible to have a conversation or relax because of constant intrusive questions being yelled at us by the sellers. Some of the sellers came very close to us and did not observe social distancing.
More generally, the sand was nice and water was a good temperature, although there were a lot of sharp rocks when you get in the water, so you have to be very careful where you step or swim.

Cosy beach, protected from waves
Dec 2019
Very safe beach - protected from high waves and the safeguard tower is close to the water, also the steepness of the descent into the water is not as huge as in case of some other beaches. Nice sand and enough room, although the beach looks quite small. The restaurants and bars are just a step from the sand, so one can easily grab a drink. There is a port just behind the corner where one can buy tickets for whale-watching trips. We had a great day!

Great Beach
Aug 2019
Had a great day here, plenty of room to lay towels, very clear water for snorkeling and see plenty of fish, has a inflatable mini water park, with slides & trampolines and only costs 15 Euro for the day, you have a wrist band and can come and go all day.

There are plenty of shops for snacks\drinks and places to eat to nip off for lunch.

As with all the other beaches it has showers to rinse off as you leave the beach.

Definitely worth a visit.

Great for younger kids
Jul 2019 • Family
This is a great little beach for younger kids. It’s really more like a lagoon. It’s very protected so they won’t get knocked down by waves. There is a “water park,” an inflatable play structure that the kids (6 to teens) loved. It was €15 for the day, per person, and you get to go on for a certain length of time before the next group goes, so it doesn’t get too crowded. Everyone is required to wear a life jacket. There are plenty of places to eat. It’s easy to keep track of the kids. There are a lot of people selling things, but just say no and they leave you alone.

The only negative about this place was the fish spa right by the beach, my toes were bleeding and it took a week of slathering them with antiseptic before they stopped hurting and I could walk normally in regular shoes. I don’t think they sanitized the instruments after cutting me either. So, go to the beach, but avoid getting a pedicure at the fish spa.

Pinta beach, the best sea & beach in this area.
Jun 2019 • Couples
Pinta beach is about a 10 minute walk along the sea front from the sunwing fanabe beach area. But it’s well worth the walk, the sand is better than fanabe & the sea is a lot more clear than fanabe. It’s a lot smaller than fanabe & has a lot morel locals use this beach & sea & that alone should tell you something. We used to go to both beaches after 6 pm, the tide would be out & the sea would be at its warmest. And sometimes 6 to 9 pm could be the hottest part of the day when there was no clouds. We used to take a frozen bottle of water & it would last the three hours & also lots of fruit. If you take bread & throw it in small pieces rolled up, there will be swarms of fish eating it with in minutes. I do it all over the world & it never fails, but put the bread on a hook & they won’t touch it at all, these fish are not stupid. Like I said you’ve got three hours to paddle, swim, sunbathe, feed the fish, the list goes on & on. Plus it’s out door healthy recreation, so it’s a win win situation for all who go.

Nice day at the beach!
Jun 2019 • Family
We spent a full 8 hours at Playa de la Pinta with a 10yo, 6yo, 5yo, and 3yo. It was perfect for all of them! The water was calm and clear and the sand is so fine and great for playing. Umbrellas and chairs available for a small fee (6 euro each from 10am-6pm). There’s a ton available around the beach (restaurants, shops, etc) so we were able to get anything we needed while away from our vacation rental. There’s a water obstacle course that we didn’t utilize but it looked fun! It was busy but it never felt uncomfortable. Be prepared to see some very European sunbathers! My only complaints... it was kind of dirty, lots of cigarette butts and things littered around the sand. And the peddlers... ohhhh the peddlers!! I have traveled plenty and been through many beach vendor experiences and these were by far some of the worst. They were extremely pushy, wouldn’t take no for an answer, kept coming back after you said no... and there were so many of them. Regardless, we had a really fun day!
