We found this a superb alternative to el sardinero. So quiet and picturesque. Watch out for anything but a green flag though for swimming. I went into the sea on yellow and found it difficult to get out owing to huge waves and current. The...More

Lovely beach. Clean sands and waters. Less touristy than el sardinero. Being in a small bay, it felt snug. At the top of the stairs is an ice cream van.

This certainly is one of the most beautiful place which have ever been, the beauty of this beach is unbelievable. The water is completely clean and also the sand, there is no too many people (at least when I was there), it is really peaceful...More

This is one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen. It is not nearly as crowded as nearby Sardinero beach. There is a small walk to reach the beach but well worth it!

Pretty beach with clean sand and sea. Good waves for boogie boarding and body surfing but not too fierce. Large sand area for games. Around 150 steps to get to it so not for the faint-hearted. No facilities on the beach but ice cream van...More

Huge beach, beautiful sand and picturesque rock formations. It wasn't the warmest place to walk in April, however I can see it would be very popular in the summer. I my opinion a great place for children.

Most Santander locals deem beaches 1 and 2, or Somos or Bikinis, as the best beaches in Santander. It rather depends on what you want to do or experience at the beach. For me, this is the best beach because of its appearance, recessed as...More

This is a beautiful beach. If the water is calm, its the perfect spot for snorkling in Santander. The moest unspolit beach in Santander with wonderful views and right open to the Bay of Biscay and not the Bay of Santander like the others. Nature...More

This is a very authentic beach as you have the very clear water with nice sand, in combination with the mountains left and right which create a natural bay. Perfect for a lazy afternoon or to take a swim!
