There is one singular attraction for which you'll pay Euro 2.80 - it is a painting of El Greco (and you cannot take a photo). However, if you've just been to the Primada Catedral of Toledo (with plenty of El Greco artworks) and Madrid's Prado museum (dozens of El Greco), perhaps one more El Greco is not worth the walk... There's nothing else to see in the church other than the infamous painting and the tomb, but it's well worth the €2.80 entrance fee. I visited on my own and the site is very popular with the large groups of tourists visiting the city so you need a little patience in order to let these clear to get a good... More

If you visit Toledo, must see chapel with one of the most beautiful painting I have ever seen. It is El Greco masterpiece - The Burial of the count of Orgaz. Pay attention on many interesting details - handkerchief with date in small boy pocket and only person on the picture to watch you. Outstanding!!!

We were thrilled to see El Greco's Burial of the Count of Organ in Toledo. The line was long but moved quickly to get our tour group up to the front row. No photography allowed so we got up to the front in a matter of minutes. Well worth the wait to see such an enormous impressive painting, beautifully executed,... More

Only a tiny place, but worth the (very small) entrance fee, to see the El Greco painting on the wall - which you (and a load of other tourists) have to cram in to a small room to see. Just wonderful!

Fantastic to see this incredible El Greco piece in situ. The room gets crowded but most people filter in and out pretty quickly so it doesn't take long to get to the front. V

This is a small church but you must visit to see the famous painting of el Greco. The painting is large and depicts the burial of Count of Orgaz. It also shows St Augustine and St Stephen descending from the heaven to attend the funeral. The church also has some nice altars. Some of the sculptures are quite interesting.

Take your time to admire this unmatched painting. Be sure to get an authorized guide to really enjoy all the secrets of this marvelous art work. You can buy a bracelet that lets you enjoy this museum and several others for a couple of days. We came back there the three days we were in Toledo and starred at the... More

It can get very busy in here because of the painting, but it is worth a look and the church is also intresting.
