We have only a couple hours at Toledo. One of the best way to see the city is by train ride taking off at Plaza de Zocodover. Bus #5/5D/61/62 outside the train station takes about 10 to 15 minutes to the plaza. We arrived at...More

This is a large plaza with a great selection of café’s restaurants and shops. You can even find American fast food. Many points of interest are only a few steps away.

A good place to relax...have a quick coffee and try the famous almond sweets and buy some to carry home..square with alot of tourist shops, and places to eat. Unlike other Spanish squares..this one is simple but a meeting point for all tourists

Nice place to sit outside and enjoy some sun and sangria. Waiter was friendly and fast. Take you time and try a few different tapas.

Should be your reference point as you explore the town. And after wandering around the lanes it was time to refuel. Definitely paid for the privilege of eating in the plaza but didn't come as a surprise.

This is the historical center of Toledo. It used to be the central market place. It is triangular in shape and today is mostly filled with souvenir shops, occasional farmers markets, and fast food restaurants. In the late 15th century, it was also the center...More

The Plaza is where you are likely to arrive if you come to Toledo by train or with a tourist group. For me it was the only part of Toledo I did not like and it does not reflect the town as a whole. Why...More
