It has an Arabian style, with an impressive stone structure, very big. Built on the IX century. Located at 200 meters from the “Puerta de Bisagra” and aside from the Hacienda del Cardenal restaurant.

The architecture is beautiful, the views are magnificent. We did not do the interior tour only the outside.

You can park your car free of charge in the parking area in the Avenida Carlos III, just next to the remains of the Roman Circus. Walk in the direction of the City wall (the Paseo Recarado). Enjoy the beautiful gate and can take the "escaleros mecanicos" to old city center.

This is a beautiful gate, leading into Toledo. You are most likely to see the gate for the first time when you take the circular ring road, surrounding the city. Not to be confused with the nearby Bisagra gate, which is more impressive.
