We enjoyed our visit to the castle much more than we expected and we got in for free which was a nice surprise, perhaps because we were concession ages. They provided a map but there appeared to be tours that you could do down into...More

Our first surprise was that the castle was still open at 19:00 (in fact it’s open to 20:00) ... Entrance was €3.70, and the visit was an absolute delight. Clearly the biggest attraction is the views from the walls in all directions (but note that...More

The castle is quite old and it is all outdoors. The walk there is a little steep, but nothing to worry about. You can walk along the old walls and see great views of the city. The admission is inexpensive.

Visited this site with friends and saw simulated sword fights. Fun and interesting with a good commentary/explanation by the guide. Thunder and lightning during the visit provided an interesting backdrop. The historical exhibition is nicely laid out too and the views of the city and...More
