Going to the cathedral is obviously the main reason to visit Burgos. You won't be disappointed either. Well organized visit with enough to keep you entertained for 2 hours.

Just a heads up, it is called a cathedral but it is a museum really. It is beautiful and get to see a good portion of the history of the catholic church. If you're in Burgos, it is a must see, the city takes a lot of pride into it's cathedral.

Although walking the Camino, we allowed time to visit the Cathedral as we passed through Burgos. It was worth the visit.

This place is unreal. The whole city was so beautiful! The architecture is so detailed, you could stare at just the outside for hours!

I am so glad to have taken a few hours to explore this Cathedral and the museum. Time well spend. I hope to have a chance in the future to visit and spend more time here.

Our last visit was in 1980 and we were impressed. But now this cathedral has been very well restored that it needs some time spent on it to realise its full potential. Throughout the architecture is impressive and you need the audio tour to help you understand its beauty and detail. The nave with its many side chapels, the flycatcher... More

Do not run through. Get the audio tour and give yourself four hours. This place is majestic and awe inspiring. Before you go in, walk the exterior-it will give you a better idea of the size of this incredible work of art, This is a must visit-even if you are an atheist!

It should be one of the largest Gothic Cathedrals in Europe, built in French Gothic style over the period of five (5) or so centuries. It has many chapels but each of them is different and/but very beautiful. Cathedral gives one a cozy feeling despite its grand construction from outside. There are many architectural styles used there, but overall it... More
