Very simple museum showing the history of Leon
Jul 2019 • Couples
This is a very simple museum, mainly didactic, illustrated boards, it has few artefacts but a lot of good information, unfortunately for English speakers in Spanish, but you can work out enough of value with basic Spanish. If you are interested in the history of the province it is well worth a visit and sits well with the Museo de Leon which has plentiful artefacts. It is free to enter.

Small historical building now cultural space
Aug 2018 • Solo
Nicely converted to a quite intimate cultural space; several intriguing images and figures along the walls.

A place to learn the history of Leon, but the building itself doesn't say much, I think worth visiting when you have extra time.

A must see in Leon!
Jul 2014 • Couples
Very interesting exhibits to detail Spanish history, especially good that exhibits are children friendly.
It is a bit difficult if you have no Spanish, but our young male guide did a great job of explaining the exhibits well. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
The restored decorated ceiling was stunning. So with the exhibits, the ceiling, the stone wall remains and the art exhibition at the time, we were delighted to have visited this attraction in Leon. To boot, this attraction is free. We would consider it a "must see" and congratulate all associated with the palacio's restoration and development of it as an interactive museum.
