This impressive church with a very tall tower, can be approached by walking down side streets from the main Plaza Mayor. Parking is nearby, but difficult to find a space.

The church was not the main attraction but it did compliment the beauty of the old city of Segovia. I took some photos and kept going to Plaza Mayor to have lunch. I didn't see the church open when we passed by, so that's why...More

Unsure as to whether this was a mosque previously, as the style is certainly Moorish, but like many buildings I wouldnt be surprised.

San Esteban is an old Romanic church located at Segovia's old city. It was closed at the time of our visit, but I can offer some nice photos from the outside.

So sad that this incredible church is now closed. It dates back centuries and must have been so beautiful in its day. Worth taking the walk downhill from the Plaza Mayor to see this. What a historic place.

The San Esteban Church has impressive architecture. It has a very high tower that is 53 meters high, and it is topped with a spire. The tower was declared a national monument in 1896. It has five sections.

It looked glorious from the outside and I loved the weather vane and the red paint somebody had thrown over the fascist war memorial
