Unsure as to whether this was a mosque previously, as the style is certainly Moorish, but like many buildings I wouldnt be surprised.

San Esteban Church is apparently no longer complete and you can't go inside. On the south/ south east flank is a fine arcaded loggia. The starkly Romanesque campanile is a little ponderous and the upper levels, easily distinguishable, are a C20th rebuild. It sits on the northern slope at the heart of the old city and you get the feeling... More

San Esteban is an old Romanic church located at Segovia's old city. It was closed at the time of our visit, but I can offer some nice photos from the outside.

So sad that this incredible church is now closed. It dates back centuries and must have been so beautiful in its day. Worth taking the walk downhill from the Plaza Mayor to see this. What a historic place.

The San Esteban Church has impressive architecture. It has a very high tower that is 53 meters high, and it is topped with a spire. The tower was declared a national monument in 1896. It has five sections.

It looked glorious from the outside and I loved the weather vane and the red paint somebody had thrown over the fascist war memorial

This is a brand new museum in the Bishop's Palace known as the Museo Palacio Episcopal - Plaza de San Esteban, 13, 40003 Segovia. Enter the courtyard, climb the stairs and be prepared to be stunned by a fabulous collection of locally made glassware and ceramics, not to mention furniture and other decorative items fit for a bishop. This Museum... More
