We saw the queue wasn't that long so we thought why not. There was only one staff for ticketing and even though the line was short it took quite a while, one hour under the sun I think. There were two elevator but they only...More

If you want to reach the Port cable car from Montjuic towards the beach, walk past the Funicular station on 30 Avenida Miramar. That is the cable car to Montjuic Castle. For the Port Cable Car you keep walking some 10 min downhill until you...More

Overpriced, too long a wait for the short cable car ride across the city. We thought we'd end up at the castle at the top of Montjuic but that was an additional cable car ride of 11 euros.

We found the cable cars on our first day whilst walking around the harbour/beach. Long queues. Too many people in one car-all standing. Needs more cars-unless there is more in high season. Great views of the city and sea. Bar at the other end when...More

Obviously it's always lovely to overlook at city, especially one as spectacular as Barcelona. This is €16.50 per person round trip. You are squeezed into a cable car and cannot move around once in, so pick your spot carefully or you are looking over heads!...More

This was a fun ride. We took the tram up the mountain and then walked over to catch this ride down to the beach. We didn't have a long wait at the top but it looked like the line was pretty long to catch the...More

We were extremely lucky with this one, we managed to walk down la rambla while it was pouring down with rain, by the time we walked up to the montjuic gardens, the sun was out, and the cable car had just re-opened, amazing views and...More

It is a historical tramway built in 1931 that traverses the old port. It is a thrilling experience with outstanding views of the port and the city. I recommend taking the car from the Montjuic hill since the other end is at the Barceloneta neighborhood,...More

ok there will be a queue, the cable car from the port up to the montjuic stands out and it only has two cars on the system so a wait is to be expected, this can be lessened by catching it from the montjuic end...More

Were allowed into the queue as the last two people of the day (5:45 pm with the last ride at 7 pm). After about a 30 minutes wait another member of the staff counted again and found we didn't fit in anymore. Instead of apologizing...More

I agree with both of the above comments. There was quite a queue when we went in October. Trip is short but wonderful views.
