The tram rides up to Montjuic and the castle was cool. We could the whole of Barcelona from the port back to the sprawling city 👍👍the entry fee into the castle and the tram rides were minimal worth the trip

The hike up this mountain was interesting. We ran into graffiti artists making their street art up the mountains.

The parc de Montjuic is very pretty and worthwhile to come to, if for no other reason than to get out of the heat! The parc is on top of Montjuic mountain. We came up on the cable car from the waterfront and then walked...More

Must do whilst in Barca. Fun and aesthetically pleasing with a great atmosphere. Cheap drinks whilst you watch the stunning display against a historic back drop. Fun music kept the boredom away too. Well done!

The Park covers a wide area and is very diverse in terms of trees, plants, birds. Good seating in the shade. Best way to visit is via a Hop On - Hop Off Bus.

We were advised to reach Montjuic by taking the metro to Placa de Espanya and using the escalators, which worked quite well. It was only moderately crowded but quite warm by 11:00 when we arrived. Wear a hat and buy or bring water! It was...More

Back to the city centre from Montjuic at night? Hi! We would like to see the Magic Fountain show in the evening (maybe the first show). I have heard that it's not recommended to walk down to the city at night time because of the safety things. How late is the funicular working? The cable car stops working too early and if not, how to get to the city from Barceloneta as the metro station is far away? For us the bus is maybe the best option. Which buses run after nine in the evening? Which numbers and from where do they start? Thank you.

Hello! We got there with a taxi. After the show we walked (there was a lot of people on the streets). I didn't felt unsecure at all. We didn't use the bus, we only used the metro and taxi (we were 4 persons so it was not... More

Hi. Staying an hour away from Barcelona next month. We will be getting the train to Barcelona Sants station in the morning, visiting Camp Nou stadium until lunch time. Would we have time to then travel to Montjuic and spend some time there? How far is it? I am confused about where is best to get the views from when reading the questions and answers?

The water show runs after a schedule. Check online. You can very well go on your own and explore as you like. The castle is lovely to see and there are some awesome views from the top :)
