This is a great little area that remained after Barcelona created for the Olympics. It's a nice by the water cleaner than Barcolonetta area to walk around and explore.

Port Olimpic is fabulous for affordable food. There is a public park with playgrounds between the road and the port below, which is more of a marina. We would have found more places open, other than shisha (hookah smoking) bars, if we’d visited at night....More

The transport system is excellent. we walked 2 blocks and got into Barcelona in 10-15 mins. get a 10 trip ticket for €9.95 if there are 2 of you just get it stamped twice. it covers metro and buses. great value. Yes the... More
