Built in 1929 it has that slightly fascist architectural feel of the times the area is where all the fairs and exhibitions are held. It's at a very important confluence of roads at the south end of Barcelona. The area itself has a few hotels...More

You can find everything around from Bars, restaurants and a big mall with a lift taking up high so you can take breathtaking photos. Fountains are few meters away and the national museum as well. Plenty of lovely bars to sit and relax around.

City square in the center of Barcelona. Crowded with young and old, tourists and locals. Great atmosphere.

Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you
enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally
translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes
recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant
atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district,
Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end
international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the
glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best
