Food was great and it didn't cost much. Servise is best what you can get.

I think this is one of the best restaurant in Barcelona.

Popped in for a quick drink with some friends as we were staying nearby. I'd walked past and seen the place busy with customers, I understand why. John is a friendly and entertaining host and we were greeted by a little Catalonia history and shots. Delicious home made tapas is available and a tasty olive mix with the drinks. Would definitely return to while away some afternoon hours :)

So we went to this place on the back of looking at trip advisor. We went in and heard a various of languages greeting us. We went to the bar and ordered our drinks.. To which we found out they don't use shot glasses to measure.. So we essentially had half and half drinks!! Amazingly friendly, made a couple of friends and they even have a dog!!! The bartender also did a free shot of jäger with us and offered us free nuts and olives.. Definitely worth the visit.

We stayed close to Bar Republica and needed som food the first night in Barcelona so we ended up here. We came back here 4 times during 5 days! It felt like coming home to a private relaxed dining room. So friendly, and the food was excellent. Definitely coming back here next time in Barcelona!

I fell in love with this place the minute I set foot inside and I have now become great friends with the owners, Leo and John. They really make you feel at home and treat you like family. The place is full of interesting books, thought provoking pictures and there is always something good to watch on the tv.

John is generally the cook and the food they serve up is delicious! They serve traditional Spanish tapas as well as sandwiches, chili con carne, humous, burgers, and all sorts of other things. Just ask and if they don't have it, chances are they'll make it for you!

Leo is usually at the bar and other than being a delight to chat with about any and all topics, he can also recommend a great drink. He was how I discovered my new love of vermouth and I will be forever grateful.

This place is just around the corner from Sant Jordi Sagrada Familia Hostel. If you are staying there or anywhere in Barcelona, I highly recommend making a stop at this quaint little watering whole. This place is great for couples, families, kids, teens, and young adults alike. Bring your friends or go alone, John and Leo will make you never want to leave. Chances are, I'll already be there!

Even though this is a bar, the food is wonderful! The owners are extremely friendly and are always there working, sometimes you'll get a visit from the dog too! I went on two occasions and the food was great both times(Smoked Salmon sandwich and a Chickpea/Chorizo dish with rice). Fast delicious food, at a great price!

This is a great little bar close to the Sagrada Familia serving up tapas and other unique daily features. Everything we tried really was delicious and if you are a fan of spicy food the chicken curry is amazing.

Not only are the food and drinks great but the owners John and Leo were so warm and welcoming that we returned two additional times during our stay in Barcelona. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Spain and we feel honoured to have made it up on the wall of fame. Would highly recommend to anyone!
