Really love Banyoles lake. Nice view of the mountains, great spot for a picnic or a quick dip in the lake. I often stop here on my bike rides from Girona.

There are some nice restaurants nearby, with views over the lake . The walk around it is well-indicated and takes about one and a half hour.

Banyoles is easy to get to from Girona by bus (every 30 minutes) and the trip takes about 25 Minutes. The 8km walk around this small lake is beautiful and takes about 2 hours. Well worth the effort to get to.
