Great morning passed in Girona, with amazing views of the city, beautiful streets, buildings and awesome food! A very good tour of the city, and a great tour guide also! An 👏 to Erik! And at the afternoon on the Dali museum, this time with the amazing tour guide Halimeh, I had a very interesting visit! And learned a lot... More

Tours left from downtown Barcelona. Coaches were adequate. Guides left a bit to be desired. They spoke English, but very heavily accented, and were difficult to understand. On Monserrat tour, guide had to translate in Spanish and English. He spoke very quickly and I indistinctly. The were 50+ people on Dali tour and was much too crowded.

We spent about three hours walking, talking and learning with hometown guide Miquel. He clearly loves Girona and sharing his city with visitors. The pace was laid back and the content and scenery along the way was perfectly pitched. We were particularly interested in the rich Jewish history there and Miquel didn't disappoint. In addition to the planned tour, it... More

We spent a very enjoyable and informative day with Miquel. Miquel has taken a deep interest in the Jewish heritage of Catalonia and is currently learning Hebrew. He gave us an interesting insight into the Jewish history in Besalu, Girona and Barcelona up to the Spanish Inquisition, as well as other interesting background facts into Catalonia and the Catalonian people.... I wish I'd read about Miquels tours before! Yesterday we went on a day trip from our village in SW France. We arrived at 9.40am and hung around for 20 mins for the guides to arrive. Luckily there were only 16of us for the English speaking tour. The guide was very proud of her city and her English was quite... More

A good historical walk which will depend on a good guide s explanation and definitely good weather. The old jewish quater takes you back in time. Do keep time to relax in "Girona s Ramblas" for a quiet meal or high tea. Not recommended for those with walking difficulties, infants in prams and non history lovers.

Whether you take a private tour or own you own, Gironas is a must see. Such a beautiful, cozy and warm place, with nice and wonderful local people. One day should be sufficient but you can also stay if you wish but if I were you I would visit it during a day tour. We did not take any tours... More

Joaquim Perez Losada was an ideal tour guide for this ancient City with architecture and history from many cultures, Christian and Jewish alike. His background as a civil engineer and his passion for architectural styles gave depth to the experience. We used flashlights to see hidden treasures in dark cathedral, ducked into doorways during rainstorms and had an extraordinary time... More

After meeting us at the train station, Joaquim took us on a 3 hour walking tour through the old, narrow streets of Givona. Highlights included the old Jewish quarters, a Turkish bath and a cathedral. His depth of knowledge of history and architecture was impressive. He spoke perfect English with great enthusiasm. After the tour he pointed out some nice... More

We were in Barcelona for a week with our teenage boys and friends suggested we visit Girona for a day. Am really glad we did. Its a beautiful city with a perfectly preserved medieval center. Just a convenient 1.20 hours away from BCN by the very comfortable MD trains. I think the reason we had such a good time in... More
