We were 10 Norwegian ladies going together to Catalonia to experience what it has to offer: cycling possibilities, beautiful nature, breathtaking views, its cultural heritage and - of course - wining and dining with all the Spanish food, wines and Cava. With Vivian as trip facilitator and Jordi as our bike-guide, we had a fantastic long weekend in Barcelona area.... More

We enjoyed our cycling trip very much, the countryside and medieval hilltop villages made for a great holiday. It was reassuring to know that there was back-up if we needed it. The bikes were on the heavy side, but adequate. The big disappointment, however, was that it was supposed to be a food and drink themed holiday but this didn't... More

We spent 6 days doing the mountain to sea ride. From the time we booked with Mare in the office, greeted at Flaca station at the beginning by Alan we felt fully supported right until the end of the ride. The scenery was amazing and we could not fault anything really. Accomodation was in small boutique style hotels in the... More

We just got back from a quick 4-day cycle tour with Cycle Catalan and can't say enough about how great it was. Alan picked us up from the train station and made sure we had everything we needed. He gave us clear routes and maps and great tips for places to stop and things to see along our route as... More

A friend and I signed up for a customized Cycle and Chill vacation and it was absolutely fantastic. - You get private access to an amazing 3-story flat in a medieval village. - Total freedom to bike according to each day's itinerary or just plain explore whatever catches your eye. (See Pictures) - If you need time to rest, there's... More

In a word - awesome! Excellent accommodations (how do you beat a 14th century palace?) great food, beautiful scenery, and a swim in the Mediterranean on our last day. And of course, the obligatory 'adventure' with the map....Bikes were great, and Alan even arranged perfect weather for our trip!

This was a fantastic trip which I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone liking a bit of exercise, great scenery and fantastic food and hospitality. Highlights were riding through the forests, the volcano walk, the changing scenery from Pyrenees to the Costa Brava and staying at La Rectoria.

Just back from the Mountains Countryside and Sea Tour. Lots of variety and the chance to see places which would be easily missed travelling by car. Everything worked smoothly and the support from the Cycle Catalan was there if needed. A great trip. Already thinking about next year's Cycle Catalan tour.

Our Pyrenees to the coast tour featured well thought out routes on mostly secondary roads. The ride into Girona was a little dicey as there's only so many ways into a larger town, but the Catalan drivers were courteous. The highlight of the trip was the accommodations, which were all excellent! It would be worth going back just to stay... More

After a wonderful holiday two tears ago organised by Alan and Vivian we asked them to put together an itinerary to show our group of four some different parts of Catalonia. They came back quickly with an interesting programme at very competitive prices. Alan provided his enthuiastic briefings every second day and ensured that our luggage was moved on efficiently....
