Be ready for a lot of nude bodies! This is a beautiful beach with amazing views and good shopping and dining. Some nude sun bathers are very aggressive and possibly territorial. Didn't keep us from loving our day there!

A lovely beach to go walking on, the promenade isn't to busy with beach sellers and they are not pushing their wares onto you. Busy on a spanish bank holiday in November but still easy to walk down. Only downside is no public toilets you...More

We were lucky to still have supper temperatures in late October. The sand beach in Sitges is very large and wide, so there is lots of space. The promenade is delightful and we really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. Go for it!

Had a great walk overhere, through the sand, not to many restaurants, not too many beachsalesmen, beautiful boulevard, a bit arty.

This area is a lovely place for a nice gentle stroll - even in the late October sun. May be a lot busier in the Summer but wide enough to cope

Just a few minutes south of Barcelona, Sitges is a bit slower, maybe a bit older. There's a large gay community and a lot of dogs. There are also lots of villas along the promenade where I'd love to live someday. A nice place for...More

Here is what visitors need to know. It is a rare thing to be able to take city transport (metro-train), for a small fee, right downtown, and travel 35 minutes to a small town on the sea, replete with waterfront "Promenade Anglaise", restaurants, hotels and...More

We spent 6 days in Sitges and went twice to Barcelona, so we felt it would have been nice to have more time in Sitges. If you're going in July you'll be also able to enjoy the beach more.

Beaches are lovely, water may be cold. Once there are no high seas its good for swimming.
